My Academic Transcript
I have completed my B. Sc. Agriculture (Special) degree with a First class (3.76 GPA), under the module of Crop Protection and Improvement, Department of Plant Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.
I selected Crop Protection and Improvement module as my area of specialization because of my special interest on subjects offered by that module as i understood the importance of following new trends of crop improvement rather than stagnating on traditional agriculture because i suppose traditional agriculture will not work alone in facing future challenges in agriculture.
Since I have born in a rural farming family agriculture was not a new thing for me. But always I am curious to learn new things specially the scientific background behind the theories. So, this curiosity and my immense dedication bought me success in my life.
Gold Medal for Most Outstanding Presentater at University Symposium 2013
Here is my certificate offered with a gold medal for the Most Outstanding Presenter in Crop Protection and Improvement module.
This certificate is offered to the candidates with good presentation skills, quality power point presentation without spellings/ grammar mistakes, accurately given citations and references, statistical accuracy of analyzed data, have validity of research findings/results and those are important to the field of agriculture and economy of the country etc.
